If so, then the issue is some computer-related one due to missing or corrupt drivers, etc. You are using the latest Garmin Express version, right?ĭo you have access to a second Windows PC? If so, see if Garmin Express sees the device. Could you run Garmin's POI Loader program and report if it sees the device? When I've seen this, it's with an odder or older device and is a Garmin Express problem. I've seen occasions when Garmin Express doesn't see a device while the Windows computer does. If the battery level drops to 0 or 1 bar after 5 minutes or so, then a new battery may be worth trying, especially if you want to keep the 765. Your 4/4 battery level is likely to rule out a battery issue but you could see just how long the GPS will run on battery alone.
